Step into a magical summer evening under the stars, where nature glows and the soul slows. Join Ross County Park District in collaboration with Geode Nature Dome for an enchanting firefly viewing experience that celebrates the beauty of stillness and the brilliance of bioluminescence.
Event Highlights:
-A gentle, Moving Meditation Walk led by Marci Carroll, founder of Geode Nature Dome — guiding you through mindful breathwork, grounding techniques, and silent reflection as twilight descends.
-Immerse yourself in the serene rhythms of nature while fireflies illuminate the night like tiny lanterns. With a bit of “ecopsychology”, led by Geode Ambassador, Jarel Lynne, Ecologist.
-End with a quiet group circle to share impressions, journal, or simply take in the magic of the moment.
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful night outdoors or a moment to reconnect with yourself and the land, this evening offers a rare chance to pause, breathe, and be present in nature’s glowing theatre.
Bring: A flashlight (for safety), comfortable walking shoes, water, and your sense of wonder.
Let the fireflies guide you home to stillness.
